POETIC THOUGHT

It’s a new year so that alcohol I formerly let in-to-me,

is in the past with a current focus on alkalinity.

I dug avidly for wisdom and dignity, 

seeking knowledge from the Power of the Trinity. 

She stood with a wondrous allure,

a magnet of attraction while silent in nature;

her demeanor was methodical,

and conversation unforgettable.

Sometimes I sit alone in my room, my kingdom; daydreaming about life. 

What does it mean? 

Where will it take me?

And when will it end? 

Seeking intelligence to expand the mind,

transparency challenging to find.

As poised as a Buddha

, 

with that Robert "Nesta" Marley funk.

Like a garden we are birthed,

from a seed and synthesized with the sun 

to become one, 

again with Mother Earth.

A warrior has risen

from beneath mother’s Earth

to probe the universe 

and master the scale of life.
